In close collaboration with marketing and development we designed an experience flow which linked the entire experience from purchase to living in your new home. In this innovative user interface for mobile platforms we managed to create a simple solution for both the end users and the technical staff of the installer companies.
Currently being implemented and released to commercial developers ... follow up version 2 will make use of animated mosaic and further develop control features for more devices and services..

Context
Honeywell supply smart home solutions to property development companies all over the world. Their solutions provide integrated control to blinds, lighting, climate control, wall socket and live cameras. In our approach we designed an experience not only for the buyer of the house, but for the installer (who’s work flow and issues are too often ignored).
We created a mobile solution that allowed the developer and eventual user to showcase their home, whilst simplifying the job of the installer (even on a much larger scale than a single house or villa).
Impact
The first version has been enthusiastically recieved by several large development firms in the Gulf, and will be offered with their new villas.
Further development and release will see improvements in functionality and additional smart features, such as location tracking, and room selection will be simplified through the use of a customisable image mosaic, which will benefit the developer (marketing) and the end user (sustainability).
