PharmaPartners are market leaders of patient information systems in the primary care in the Netherlands. Their personal health portal “MijnGezondheid.net” had been on the market for many years, and was in need of an update.
FLO interactive was asked to redesign the portal to increase adoption rate, and significantly we were also asked to make it portable.
We came up with a graphical services environment where the patient is at the center of the healthcare. By incorporating simple customisation methods people take ownership of their portal - in look and feel. The new design has been implemented to extend the general practitioner's service.

Context
Government wants citizens to take control over their healthcare and health records. However, only a small number of self-motivated chronical patients used the service.
The previous portal was looking dated and had a very rigid and functional navigation structure. Following persona analysis and customer journey design we came up with a concept that could easily be customized by the user, that supports the user’s intentions, and that could grow into a marketplace for personalized care.
Impact
The portal is now being offered to patients as a personal health record incorporating 24/7 communication with clinics throughout the country (Netherlands). The responsive design is accessible through PC, tablet and smartphone.

This has been translated in user journeys, a new concept, a new visual style, and a matching mobile interface.
